    People talk about customer-service A LOT, but who really embraces the spirit of it when the going gets tough?  If you are someone who enjoys solving customer’s server and application issues and not just talking about them, we, BroadPoint, would like to talk to you about joining our exceptional commercial client-service team.  You will be working with our Microsoft Dynamics ERP consultants and supporting our clients in getting the most out of the solutions they’ve acquired.     • In 2010, we expanded our federal practice to include a broad range of technology solutions including Oracle Financials, MicroPact entellitrak case management and Microsoft CRM.

    Responsibilities

    You will be working independently on a vast spectrum of mostly client server issues and helping to answer customer queries about their ERP application. This is the perfect role for a technical support person who wants to learn about Microsoft Dynamics products and advance their career with a Microsoft Gold Partner.


    On a daily basis, you will be responsible for: 



    • Maintaining hosted client servers in Azure for our clients, serving as their system administrator

    • Identifying, researching and troubleshooting IT issues like server outages/performance, troubleshooting connectivity, and even resetting passwords

    • Answering end users’ questions about systems and applications

    • Documenting processes/procedures for our ERP staff

    • Logging all user contact activity in our CRM system for future reference

    Qualifications

    You are the candidate for this job, if you have:



    • Excellent computer troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively and quickly diagnose, research and implement solutions to server issues

    • Outstanding customer service skills including the ability to diffuse an emotionally charged situation

    • Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task

    • Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure

    • Willingness to work autonomously, but ask appropriate questions

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Proven ability to take responsibility, think analytically and work in a team environment


    To qualify for this position, your background must include:



    • 2-3 years of experience working as an IT Specialist, Sys Admin, or Tech Support person in a high-paced, client-facing environment; degree preferred, but not required

    • Extremely hands-on with Windows Server 2012/2016

    • Experience in Active Directory administration (creating/disabling accounts, etc.)

    • Familiar with network troubleshooting including diagnosing end user connection issues, adding printers, etc.

    • Experience with SQL and basic scripting in SQL; some familiarity with PowerShell scripting a real plus

    • Exposure to Azure a plus, but not a requirement
