• Federal Practice - Account Executive, Technology Solutions

    BroadPoint delivers quality solutions designed specifically for government organizations in the areas of enterprise resource planning as well as case and business process management. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and creative business development executive to lead our federal sales efforts in these areas. Specifically, BroadPoint implements Oracle E-Business Suite ERP applications and Micropact's entellitrak case management solution for clients in the civilian sector.  


    Our Federal Account Executive will prospect and close deals by actively selling the engagement/solution to the client, drive the development of proposals/ statements of work, account planning, white paper development, and the creation of other business development materials as required.  Overall, you will craft and deliver on our case/business process management strategy to include extensive planning in the areas of account development, penetration, and support. Specifically, you will: 


    Drive revenue in new and existing accounts:

    • Identify key agency contacts and partners;
    • Identify, track and manage related opportunities;
    • Develop agency account plans and execute call plans.

    Drive the bid and proposal process for case management:

    • Develop proposal outlines and support the proposal process;
    • Develop content for specific sections of the proposal including graphics and participate in reviews;
    • Perform other duties as required such as they related to the BroadPoint proposal infrastructure.

    Perform business development related research:

    • Review federal sources for new trends, partners, and contacts;
    • Participate in federal related associations such as ACT-IAC, AGA, APMP, and Small Business;
    • Co-lead, with Operations, the development new service offerings.

    Create/sponsor initiatives that will improve the capabilities of our practice such as knowledge initiatives, process improvements and/or initiatives that increase the success of our practice.



    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, marketing.
    • 5+ years in federal business development as a sales person with demonstrated achievement and management/client references.
    • Experience managing a team.
    • Team player with an ability to jointly organize/work/pursue/close deals with Operations
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, writing and speaking skills including the ability to effectively create, customize, edit, and present reports and presentations.
    • Ability and willingness to multi-task, prioritize and communicate progress in a fast-paced environment including being able to plan prospecting calls and coordinate the bid process.
