    BroadPoint is a certified small business delivering high-quality services and solutions for government organizations across a wide range of technologies.  We are seeking a highly motivated Federal Staffing Manager to join our Bethesda-based firm and help us manage and recruit resources for a variety of technology projects across the Federal government. He or she will work directly with senior business development and operations executives, client leaders, and current employee/contractors on all talent acquisition and engagement activities. He or she will play an integral role in helping us win new business and support existing operations. 


    The heart of this position is managing the Federal staffing process from start to finish, proactively managing the portfolio of positions to ensure a prioritized focus on critical roles.  Key responsibilities include talent acquisition – developing and implementing key talent acquisition initiatives to attract, select, and hire quality personnel -- as well as and management -- engaging team members to ensure they remain motivated, happy on their BroadPoint projects.


    Core responsibilities include:

    • Work closely with the Hiring Managers and Human Resources to assess talent needs, develop strategic staffing plans, and implement campaigns to ensure resource needs are met.
      • Partner directly with hiring managers on desired candidate profiles, search strategy and offer packages.
      • Build and implement a process to identify and maintain relationships with potential talent across core skills including overseeing the corporate employee referral program.
      • Leverage corporate relationships and networks to identify and attract top talent.
      • Conduct salary assessments/surveys as necessary.
    • Manage headcount through proposals including providing guidance on which skills/ people to place on a proposal and working with vendors and recruiters to source and screen candidates.
    • Provides full lifecycle recruiting function to include developing and marketing job positions, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, reference checking, extending verbal and written offers while also maintaining candidate information in the automated recruiting system.
    • Initiate, negotiate, and manage working relationships with vendors and external business partners to facilitate the generation of high quality candidates, pre-screening services, and attracting key team members.
    • Manage the contracting of Independent Contractor and Staffing engagements, where requirements cannot be fulfilled by permanent staff.


    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of recruiting/staffing experience with at least 3 years of experience managing proposal efforts in the Federal space.
    • Proven ability to balance conflicting demands across the business including prioritizing corporate needs.
    • Experience sourcing and managing technical professional services talent – consultants, analysts, developers – in the competitive world of IT staffing.
    • Previous experience recruiting in the government contracting industry, including working proposals and delivery simultaneously. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers at all levels of the organization.
    • Recruiting skills in the areas of candidate research, sourcing, screening, consultation, and closing.
    • Working knowledge of legal requirements related to recruitment and staffing.
    • Impeccable written, verbal communication, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
